An image I originally did for the Disney Parks Blog to post on Valentine’s Day. There was such a great response to it, Disney made it into a poster to send out for part of our Disney Side PR kit that went to Disney Side host families across the country. I have done this similar style on many of my screen printed posters for Festival of the Masters and even on my original character OhNo. Enjoy! ©Disney
This is how I start my posters, by hand, usually with nothing more than a Sharpie. You can see I have to draw out a lot of pieces to get what I need -sometimes even filling pages and pages of paper with phrases that might appear on the print as handwriting. You can see some how the final art posters turned out on my art site here.
This was a print I had in mind for a while. It is my original character OhNO with an added stache for good measure. I wanted to combine letterpress and screen printing techniques and also use some metallic inks as well. So for the main print I did exactly that – letterpressing the black and red and then screening on the bronze metallic mustache over top. I made a limited edition of 80 prints. They are available for purchase here and each will be hand signed and numbered by me. There are also a very limited amount of other color options all on super thick French Paper Co. Muscletone 140 pound cover stock. Enjoy!
I started the OhNo Letterpress “Stache” print last night. Really cool to see the old Government Printing Office press in action at Hobo Press.(My buddy Adam’s garage) Next step screen print on the mustache with bronze ink. I will put them up on my site next week.

I am going to be working on printing this up this weekend. I am going to try to combine Screen Printing and Letterpress techniques on this one on heavy French Paper stock. Look for it soon in my Store.
